Fall Photography At Babcock State Park In West Virginia

October 2020  |  Babcock State Park | West Virginia

Babcock State Park in West Virginia is known for its beautiful fall colors and the Glade Creek Grist Mill is one of the most photographed locations in the park. We drove down for a very short weekend trip, but we were a bit late. Most of the leaves were already gone. I did take a picture of the mill, but since I know what it could look like taken at the right time, I would like to return earlier next fall.

Instead, I decided to focus on a part of the falls at the bottom of the mill. Below are some pictures from the falls and landscape on our drive to West Virginia.

Rain Shower
It was just raining and the vibrant, green fern at the bottom of the falls caught my eyes.

Sunset Colored Leaves
We passed this scenery on our way back home. It was foggy and the beautiful fall colors of the trees captured my attention.
